Matt Brooks
ITLP Global Program Manager
Matt is the Global Program Manager for the ITLP. A fourth-generation GE employee, Matt grew up near Schenectady, NY: the birthplace of GE! He has a BS in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from the University at Albany and joined GE as a full-time IMLP after three internships with GE Energy. Since graduating from the ITLP, he held several roles within GE Energy, Corporate, Capital, Aviation, and NBC Universal before returning to GE Corporate to lead the Program. Matt is a true technologist at heart and started programming when he was 12. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, photography, playing the saxophone, and seeing movies.

Jesse is a 4th rotation working for Corporate at the new Information Security Tech Center in VA on the Data Loss Prevention Team. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Minor in Math. Jesse has worked on projects ranging from email migrations, user interface re-designs, to eLearning content. His major interests are New England sports, videogames, soccer, tennis and traveling!

Will is currently on his second rotation in GE Energy in Plainville, Connecticut, and is a writer and editor for the blog. He graduated from Cornell University in 2011 with a degree in Information Science, a program that focuses on programming, web design, usability, and human-computer interaction. He was born in Buffalo, NY and is a (long-suffering) Bills and Sabres fan. Off-program, he hopes to find a role working with mobile technology, web site development, or application usability.
Anthony Artese

Anthony is a GE Capital program member from Westchester, NY. He graduated from Bentley University in 2011 with a B.S. in Computer Information System and a Minor in Information and Process Management. His first rotation was in GE Capital, Americas where he was a member of the Infrastructure Services Team and is currently in GE Capital Retail Finance for his second rotation. Anthony is fascinated by the power of social media and how blogging has changed the world of publishing content. He puts these two factors to practice by sharing his culinary endeavors on his food blog. In his free time, Anthony enjoys many outdoor activities such as sailing, kayaking, fishing, and the occasional home run derby at his childhood little league field. He also likes computer gaming and recently built his own gaming PC.

Kirsten is entering her 4th rotation with GE Transportation and is located in Schenectady, NY. She graduated from Clarkson University in May 2010 with a B.S. in Engineering Management and a minor in Supply Chain Management. Her rotations so far have included projects around server refreshes, data analytics, production monitoring systems, and shop floor IT support. She has most enjoyed her work in analytics, and is pursuing this area further in an in-depth apprenticeship for her 4th rotation. Outside of work, Kirsten likes to spend time outside (hiking, skiing, playing tennis), baking (bread and any imaginable dessert), and getting lost in books (and used book stores).

Shaoyen is currently on his second rotation with GE Capital, based in Stamford, CT. He graduated from Cornell University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Information Science, and worked as an IT intern at a civil engineering firm in NYC, and as a student IT consultant on campus prior to joining GE. Shaoyen is interested in web programming, human-computer interaction design, and tinkering with Linux. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, running, playing the saxophone/piano, and video games.
Corinne Bernsteil

Corinne is with GE Capital in Norwalk, CT. She graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis, focusing in Information and Cyber Security. She is originally from Pottstown, PA and is an avid baseball fan, especially the Philadelphia Phillies. In her free time she enjoys reading, keeping in touch with friends, shopping, and being active. Corinne’s favorite technology topics are anything security.

Andrea is at his 4th rotation in GE Oil & Gas in Florence, Italy. He graduated from the University of Siena in 2010 with a PhD in Quantum Information Systems. He spent his previous three rotations in Florence working in Sourcing, Engineering and ERP systems. Andrea was born in Perugia and raised in Siena, Italy. He loves travelling and playing sports. Andrea recently led the blog moving it towards community service, social media and information security topics. He loves working in team and do his best to get things done.

Anthony is in his final rotation at GE Capital. He’s originally from Park City, UT. He graduated with a Masters’ degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 2009 and a B.S. in Information Systems from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management in 2008. Over the last ten years he has moved over ten times for school and work; the list so far includes: Brazil, Connecticut, Michigan, Minnesota, Mozambique, Pennsylvania, Utah, Washington (State), and Washington D.C. Anthony is married with one son and another child on the way. When he is not playing around with technology or hanging out with his family, Anthony enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, photography, and being outdoors.

Jonathan was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and is a proud Saints fan. He enjoys going to Taco Mac, a local Atlanta sports bar, on Falcons-Saints game days with his friends to see the Saints pull off a win. In addition to his passion for American football, Jonathan enjoys playing tennis, value shopping, and hanging out with friends. He also has an eclectic taste of music and enjoys going to concerts. His favorite artist right now is Adele, and he is anxious for her to announce her new tour dates. Jonathan is a night owl and prefers working in the afternoon.

Calli is working with GE Capital in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Information and Process Management and International Business and a minor in Italian. Her favorite technology topics are database management and security. Calli is originally from Denver, CO and is an avid runner having completed her first half marathon last year. In her free time she enjoys being with family and friends, shopping and staying active.
Paola Di Marcello

Paola is at her 4th rotation with GE Oil & Gas, based in Aberdeen, UK. She graduated from the University of Pisa in 2010 with a Bachelors in Information Technology, worked for a year in the National Center of Research (CNR) in Pisa, and interned at CERN in Geneva prior to joining GE. She enjoys travelling, playing sports & horseback riding. She also love cooking, sweets in particular. She spent her previous three rotations in Florence working in ERP system, Global Services and Turbomachinery. She is interested in mobile technology & security.
